This Matcha Latte mix is really enjoyable as a little midday pick up. I thought the flavor was delicious. I used a frother and it mixed up quickly and easily. Comes out really creamy, slightly thick when used with milk. I enjoyed it both cold and warm, so its perfect for whichever mood you’re in. The warm version does intensify the flavor slightly. I felt a steady little energy boost shortly after taking and I felt more alert too. The package doesnt mention any caffeine content but I believe matcha inherently contains caffeine.
The flavor profile is the “green” flavor of the matcha, slightly sweet, slightly earthy.
I did not think it was bitter or overly “grassy” tasting, signs of a good quality matcha.
I like how the company is cGMP compliant meaning the factory has been certified that this product contains the ingredients and strengths it claims. I’ve had their other products and they are all tasty IMO while incorporating the perported health benefits of mushrooms.
If you love matcha this is an easy way to make a quick latte at home. The bag ounces make it seem small, but its a powder and I thought it was a good size bag. Serving size is 2 scoops, but even 1 scoop makes a good drink. Much more affordable and healthier than the coffee shop versions of lattes in the long run.
